Candlelight Vigil for Peace
Members of the St. William community joined in a Candlelight Vigil for Peace held Sunday, October 20, 2002, at the Douglas Loop. They joined in this silent vigil for all those who have died in conflicts in the Middle East this year and to pray for peaceful solutions without war in Iraq.  More than 500 people from many congregations and denominations took part in this "peaceful presence."
