St. William Church - 2007 Mardi Gras

Upon entering, guests picked up a set of beads and signed up for hourly door prizes and the chance to become the reigning queen and king for the evening.

Music and dancing, children

The children enjoyed blowing bubbles.

The children also worked on craft projects.

Old friends visited.

The line formed for the potluck supper.

Finally the first piñata spilled forth its candy. After the candy was gathered off the floor by eager little hands, the older  children got a chance to swing away.

The King and Queen were crowned.

The Annuals began playing

The Parade of Saints ended in front of the band where the dancing began.  Seated around the dance floor, an appreciative audience enjoyed the music and the dancing.
